AWS-Technik e.K. merged into the newly founded AWS-Technik GmbH on 1 January 2025.
Due to the company's positive personnel growth, AWS-Technik e.K. merged into AWS-Technik GmbH on 1 January 2025. As part of the change of legal form, a new location was also occupied to accommodate the growing team.
A project in cooperation with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Rheinische Hochschule Köln and Stausberg & Vosding GmbH.
ASTOR is a research project on the automation of solar-thermochemical cycles to reduce hydrogen production costs. A solar-thermally driven reactor for producing hydrogen from solar energy and water is being developed. AWS-Technik supports the project with regard to maximising overall efficiency through heat recovery and the development of optimised custom heat exchangers. The project is funded by the European Union in the NRW climate protection competition Hydrogen HyWay through LeitmarktAgentur.NRW.
