Heat exchangers for machinery and plant engineering

Compact coolers and built-in heat exchangers - as a single unit or as a jointly developed product series.

In machinery and plant engineering, compact dimensions, reliable cooling performance and economical procurement count - from prototype to series production.

Single unit or product series

AWS-Technik supplies air-cooled coolers as complete units with fan, compact finned tube heat exchangers and cleanable plain tube heat exchangers. Beyond that, we specialise in developing standard components and product series: together with you, the component is created that fits your machine - technically and economically.

How does an OEM product series come about?

It starts with jointly capturing the requirements: installation situation, cooling capacity, media and the series logic of your machine. From this we develop the component as a standard building block - you talk directly to the people who size and build the heat exchanger, from the first enquiry to series delivery. Manufacturing takes place in-house or within our Europe-wide network of specialised suppliers, whichever is the most economical solution for your series.

Typical processes

  • Oil and hydraulic cooling with air-cooled coolers including fan
  • Compact finned tube heat exchangers where space is limited
  • Plain tube heat exchangers for contaminated environments
  • Development of standard components and product series for machine builders

Frequently asked questions

Does AWS-Technik also develop series components for OEMs?

Yes - besides single units we specialise in the development of product series. Machine builders benefit from close cooperation and personal support.

Which type when space is tight?

Finned tube heat exchangers: their high heating surface density allows a particularly compact design. In contaminated environments we recommend cleanable plain tube heat exchangers.
